TexTally is a word counter for your PC that's easy, convenient and tiny, a supplement that can be useful for Internet content publishers, writers, journalists, or anyone who needs to know the number of words in a particular text.
TexTally not only counts the words, but it also tells you the exact number of characters and lines in a particular text. Furthermore, TexTally lets you paste text copied from any editor or source.
Another TexTally detail oriented especially at editors who charge for the number of words or characters they write, is the ability to assign a price for words, lines or characters, and set a price accordingly. TexTally can export the word count reports to CSV.
